Anna Till
Anna Till (*1983) lives and works as a freelance choreographer in Dresden. She studied "Dance, Context, Choreography" at the HZT Berlin and "Applied Cultural Studies" in Lüneburg. In changing collaborations with artists of different genres, she develops dance productions that have already been performed in Berlin, Düsseldorf, Leipzig, Dresden, Dortmund, Prague, Košice, Florence, Israel, Maputo, Marrakesh and Santiago de Chile. Among them "life in numbers" (2019) with Katia Manjate (MOZ) and "Experiencing Time" (2021) with Barbara Lubich (IT/DE). In 2017, together with cultural manager Bettina Lehmann, she founded the company situation productions, which she has continued since 2021 with lighting designer and photographer Martin Mulik. Together with filmmaker and sociologist B. Lubich she also works in the collective TILL&LUBICH on interdisciplinary performance projects with a focus on dance-historical references. As a dancer Anna worked closely with Antje Pfundtner in company for the productions "ENDE" and "Alles auf Anfang" and within the discourse format "Tischgesellschaften". Anna leads mediation formats for children and young people, as well as regular seminars and workshops at art colleges. In 2020/2021 she was an artistic associate at HZT Berlin. Anna is a founding and board member of TanzNetzDresden and a founding member of Villa Wigman für TANZ e.V. For the past 10 years she has advocated for a diverse and strong independent scene in Saxony.
