Alena Kundela works as a dancer / performer, teacher and yoga instructor in the area of Eastern Switzerland. In 2015 she completed the training in dance, improvisation and performance in Freiburg (D). In 2015 she founded the dance and performance collective KOMA with her colleague Magdalena Weniger. Inspired by the connection between dance and performance, she is interested in diversity in movement and explores and performs the now, improvisation as live art. Her special interest lies in site-specific as well as interactive performances where a real contact with the audience can take place. She is co-organizer of the festival TANZFEST St. Gallen and is involved in the association ig tanz ost for regular trainings and workshops. In July 2017 she was selected for the Kutlurförderungspreis of the city of St. Gallen.
