Anna Kempin began her dance training in 2011 in Freiburg at the freiburger akademie für tanz. In 2019, she completed her BA of Arts at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln / Center for Contemporary Dance. Since then she has been working as a freelance dancer with choreographers such as Rafaële Giovanola (CocoonDance), Michèle Murray (PLAY), Judith Sanchez Ruiz (JSR) and David Hernandez (dh+). In the piece "Vis Motrix" by CocoonDance, which was nominated as the piece of the year 2018/2019 in the critics' poll of the magazine tanz, she is engaged as a role takeover since 2019. In her own movement studies "Durch Drei", "InBetWeEn a Shock" and "Dancing on the Edge" she followed her special interest of interdisciplinary work. In 2017 she received a scholarship from the German National Academic Foundation.
