Romy first studied art history in Berlin and then stage and costume design at the HfBK Dresden (diploma 2020). She was then a permanent assistant at Schauspiel Leipzig and Theater Basel. This was followed by numerous assistantships, artistic collaborations and her own designs at various theaters and opera houses in Meiningen, Bamberg, Dresden, Berlin, Mannheim and Stuttgart. Since 2022 she has been working as a freelance stage and costume designer for drama, musical theater, dance and interdisciplinary projects.
